Dr Michael N Walsh

Dr Michael grew up in New Ross, and his parents Michael and Nuala also worked in the practice. He attended Good Counsel College, and then University College Dublin, graduating with a Joint Honours degree in Physiology and Pharmacology in 2014, and a degree in Medicine in 2018.
Following graduation, he completed his internship, and then spent two further years working in hospital medicine in Dublin. He moved back to the south east in 2021, and spent 4 years working in different hospitals, specialties and GP practices, as part of the South East GP Training Scheme.
Dr Michael joined the practice in 2025. He has a special interest in cardiovascular health, paediatrics and evidence-based medicine, but enjoys the variety that comes with being a GP.
