Dr Thomas L Walsh

Dr Tom grew up in New Ross, his father Michael was a GP in this practice and his mother Nuala was a practice nurse.
Prior to his medical studies Dr. Tom attended Good Counsel College. He obtained a degree in General Nursing from University College Dublin.
Dr Tom studied Medicine in the University of Aberdeen graduating in 2014. As part of his medical training he completed a programme in Remote & Rural medicine based in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
After completion of foundation training years 1 & 2 in Scotland Dr Tom undertook a further four years of vocational GP training with the Donegal GP Training Scheme.
Upon completion of GP training in 2020 Dr. Tom returned home to New Ross and joined the practice. He became a partner in 2022.
Dr. Tom enjoys all aspects of General Practice.
