Winter Flu and Covid Vaccine Program Now Available for Patients Over 60 and Pneumonia Vaccine Over 65

Winter brings a higher risk of respiratory illness, especially for older adults and people with ongoing health conditions. Our Winter Flu and Covid Vaccine Program has now commenced for all patients aged over 60 years.

Patients aged over 60 are invited to contact the surgery to book an appointment for their winter flu and Covid vaccines. We also have the pneumonia vaccine available for patients aged over 65 years.

Who can book an appointment now

The current winter vaccine programme is open to:

• All patients aged over 60 years for the Flu Vac

• Certain patients under 60 years may also qualify for the Flu Vac

• Covid vaccines are now available as part of the winter programme to any age.

  The pneumonia vaccine is also available for eligible patients in this age group.
